Description

Okanagan Staffing’s valued Kelowna client, Inland Comfort Air Conditioning, is a rapidly growing commercial heating and air conditioning contractor. The Office Administrator is a finance professional who is an integral part of our client’s business who is part of the team that creates satisfaction and value for their customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collect all job costs for materials, subcontracts and labour so a total cost for a job can be obtained.
  • Ensure all costs are entered into our accounting system.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers.
  • Generate and send out credit notes.
  • Prepare and send out customer statements.
  • Handle invoicing inquiries from customers.
  • Assist in collecting payment for outstanding invoices.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications:

  • You must understand accounting standards and practices and be comfortable working daily on a computer with numbers.
  • You must be familiar with and capable of using Microsoft Excel on a regular basis.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • A responsible attitude with attention to detail.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.

This position will start on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and will move into full-time hours as business picks up and experience is gained in the position.
