One of our valued clients requires an immediate Office & Operations Manager for the office hub and distribution warehouse for their hemp product. This individual will assist the Chief Financial Officer in many areas, as follows:
The chosen candidate will be a strong manager who takes “ownership” of the situation and who will not be satisfied until everything and everyone is taken care of. They must be able to coordinate and be a superior executive assistant. Our client would welcome input from someone who can make positive contributions to the office and its culture, and who is striving for constant improvement and efficiency. This role involves significant bookkeeping tasks; therefore, it requires an individual with strong bookkeeping skills and excellent attention-to-detail. They must have competency in setting up payroll, invoicing, generating purchase orders, receiving payments, managing A/R, paying bills processing expense reports/receipts, and bank reconciliation. The coordinating/ EA role would intertwine with these duties. This position will have accounting support at a higher level by the company accountant.
This position sits at the front desk and directs light-walk-in traffic, receives and screens phone calls for the different business units, and manages various email accounts. As well, mastery of the warehouse operations is imperative and, in some instances, the chosen candidate may need to cover if the warehouse manager is away.
