We are pleased to represent our client, a leader in the HVAC, Automation and Electrical industry in their search for a Departmental Administrative Assistant. This role will work closely with their Sales department.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the sales team
- Invoicing and Purchasing
- Coordinating sales and marketing initiatives.
- Providing analytical support focusing on monthly sales and pricing
- Supporting on-going customer programs
- Monitoring Bid sites for tenders and contract activities
- Receiving and sending email, mail and couriers
- Managing appointments, meetings and conference calls
- Customer listing forms and pricing
- Prepare variety of correspondence, reports and charts using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Other duties as required
We are looking for someone with:
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and competing priorities under short timelines
- Strong experience in calendar management
- Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent computer skills on Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Is detailed-oriented, takes initiative, and an excellent team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Is self-motivated with a positive attitude, and determined to learn and sharpen skills on an ongoing basis
