We are pleased to represent our client, a leader in the HVAC, Automation and Electrical industry in their search for a Departmental Administrative Assistant.  This role will work closely with their Sales department.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the sales team
  • Invoicing and Purchasing
  • Coordinating sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Providing analytical support focusing on monthly sales and pricing
  • Supporting on-going customer programs
  • Monitoring Bid sites for tenders and contract activities
  • Receiving and sending email, mail and couriers
  • Managing appointments, meetings and conference calls
  • Customer listing forms and pricing
  • Prepare variety of correspondence, reports and charts using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Other duties as required

We are looking for someone with:

  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and competing priorities under short timelines
  • Strong experience in calendar management
  • Advanced working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent computer skills on Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Is detailed-oriented, takes initiative, and an excellent team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Is self-motivated with a positive attitude, and determined to learn and sharpen skills on an ongoing basis
