Reliability starts at the top!  Our Penticton, BC client, established in 1976, is a well-trusted contractor, thanks to quality workmanship and excellent customer care.  As members of multiple national and local roofing associations, they regularly train their staff and ensure they are employing the latest roofing trends.  They are COR safety certified, offer warranties on their products and guarantee quality workmanship.  This trusted company is now looking to add a Project Manager to their well-respected team!    

As Project Manager, you will have these ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal education and training in Project Management with PMP Designation Preferred
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a project manager with a reputable roofing/sheet metal firm.
  • Must have expert knowledge of roofing/sheet metal applications and processes.
  • Ability to maintain project costs within their allotted budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively mentor and coach employees on jobsites, professional and personable attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, problems solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to perform physical activities at heights on a regular basis.
  • Strong Mathematic Skills, the ability to create and interpret basic financial reports
  • Proficient in computer skills including Sage 100 Contractor, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build respect and trust with field workers and management
  • Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, Travel is required.


Reporting Relationships

  • Reports directly to the General Manager
  • All assigned foreman and their crews report to the Project Manager


Project Managers (PM’s) are the corporate face of our client with their Customers and are expected to act with honesty and integrity in all of their interactions. 

Post Mortem:

After a job concludes, a Post Mortem review will be completed with the General Manager. This will include feedback from the foreman, an analysis of labour hours and material costs.
