Kevin has lived in Kelowna since June 1995. After graduating with a Business Administration degree with double majors in Marketing and Personnel Administration, Kevin began his career with the Bank of Montreal in 1981.
After 8 years of varied banking experience, 5 years in all aspects of human resources, Kevin joined the Olsten Corporation in Calgary as a Recruitment/Sales Manager. In this role Kevin gained invaluable recruitment and human resource consulting experience from a broad base of clients, which ultimately led to the entrepreneurial beginning of Okanagan Staffing Services Inc. in Kelowna.
Kevin is Past President and 15 year member of the Ogopogo Rotary Club, member of the BC Human Resources Management Association and CHRP, member of Accelerate Kelowna, past Director of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and Board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Find a Cure.
Tracey has been a resident of Kelowna since July 1994 after moving to the valley from North Vancouver. She worked in the financial industry for over 20 years, including banking and brokerage. Her position started in Administration and advanced up to Branch Administrator where she was utilized to perform the HR duties to hire the Branch support staff.
In 1996 she had the opportunity to open the first Labor Ready office in Kelowna that provided temporary labour to the Okanagan. She also volunteered as an integral part to the 2003 Firestorm emergency as the Kelowna ESS Volunteer Coordinator of nearly 2000 volunteers and 10,000 evacuees.
Her passion and enjoyment ultimately resides with helping and working with the public. With a combined Financial industry background, HR & Managerial experience, she is well groomed to fit in with our team at Okanagan Staffing Services. Tracey is excited and enthusiastic about her opportunity to support Okanagan businesses as she assists them in their recruitment needs.
Amanda Tarjan – Recruitment Assistant
Amanda has lived in Kelowna her entire life and brings great knowledge of the Okanagan’s dynamic. Having had her own marketing and promotions company for over 5 years, she brings her entrepreneurial spirit to assist Okanagan Staffing Services with development and sales. Amanda acts as our unofficial technical guru for the office and excels in troubleshooting problems and database management. Her friendly personality and skill with organizing has led to the position of Administration and Recruitment Assistant.
Amanda is a self starter and quick learner and her strong attention to detail keeps Okanagan Staffing Services on track with administrative duties. She also has great communication skills and works efficiently to meet our clients’ needs quickly. The diversity of the position and the satisfaction of assisting both employers and employees make her job very rewarding.
Elaine Osland – Finance Manager
Elaine has been a resident of Kelowna since 1991. After graduating with a Business Management certificate, she discovered that she had a natural gift with numbers. With several years in the corporate and non profit environment she had the opportunity to open her own business providing financial services to small to mid sized companies. Elaine has gained valuable experience in her own business to assist Okanagan Staffing Services Inc. with their finances. With her expertise in government regulations, payroll procedures, tax and budget analysis we have reached much success in the 5+ years Elaine has been with us.
